94% of all businesses that suffer a catastrophic loss of data close within two years. You protect the physical assets of your firm with insurance but what about the potentially irreplaceable asset which is your data?
Continuity Management provides an exceptional layer of protection to keep your corporate information safe. This is possible through the integration of backup technologies which guarantee your data will never be lost again.
A Complete Image
We generate entire images of hard drive partitions via a software agent.
more
The images are warehoused on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device, physically located at your location. Backup data is encrypted and compressed. We employ a block-level backup which means that data is captured at the level of 1's and 0's on the hard drive. Block level data is raw data which does not have a file structure imposed on it. Database applications such as Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Exchange Server transfer data in blocks. Block transfer is the most efficient way to write to disk and is much less prone to errors such as those which result from file-level backups. Additionally, block level backups are not affected by open files or open databases. The block-level image is an exact digital duplicate of your server.
A Virtual Server
Having the ability to virtualize a server in the event of failure means allowing data and applications to continue to be accessible even if a server is down for an extended period of time.
more
Ideally, virtualization is possible in minutes. While it may take several days to receive replacement parts or repair from vendors, virtualization ensures your business stays up and running. Our Continuity Management Pro level plans include server virtualization.
Encrypted Data
After creating a base image, the data is synchronized with a location in the cloud using an encrypted tunnel across the Internet.
more
Since the server data is encrypted and transmission takes place over a secure connection, the integrity of your information is guaranteed. Encryption renders transmission immune to theft and ensures confidentiality of content.
Monitored and Managed
Our systems monitor all Continuity Management Pro level subscriptions on a 24x7 basis.
more
Failed processes generate immediate alerts to our team of engineers who often remotely correct errors within minutes of receiving notification. In case of more serious issues, our qualified staff will conduct repairs at your site. If hardware are irreparably damaged or destroyed we can ship replacements, pre-loaded with all data, directly to your location of choice.
Near Real Time Backups
All Continuity Management solutions use an "Incremental Forever" methodology to capture all changes to the initial base image.
more
Snapshots can be taken as frequently as every 30 minutes, capturing virtually every change to your data. The technology not only backs up recent datasets but allows reconstruction of data as it stood at the end of numerous restoration points.
Efficient Data Transfer
Transmission itself occurs over your Internet connection. Pro level plans minimize bandwidth consumption.
more
Pro level plans leverage Adaptive Bandwidth Throttling. This means the offsite data transfer only utilizes unused bandwidth up to an outbound limit that can be changed at any time. Our UDP based smart transfer technology utilizes a host of innovative algorithms, speeding up data transport and reducing failure. This allows us to exercise fine control over the data imaging and transmission process.
Disaster Recovery Process
A good backup system should allow for quick and flexible restores.
more
Our solution allows for recovery of files, folders, partitions, mailboxes/messages, databases/tables using a quick and intuitive process. Routine file restores are performed remotely by someone from our operations team. In case of a complete server failure, our solution will completely restore your data back to its prior condition, even if the hardware has changed.
Secure Offsite Storage
Transmitting data to a remote offsite location is a key component of Continuity Management.
more
It guarantees that, in case of physical damage to your office, or even regional disaster, the data is safe in an uncompromised location, in the cloud.
